My journey into audiobook narration began years ago when I volunteered with Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic. Twice a week, I found myself in a Denver studio narrating math and science textbooks—a fulfilling experience that sparked a lasting passion. During the pandemic, I rekindled this interest, transforming it into a hobby by building my own home studio.
By early 2024, I discovered an exciting opportunity to deepen my skills at the Denver Center for Performing Arts, where I completed courses in Voice Over 1, Voice Over 2, Audiobook Narration 1, and The Business of Audiobooks. These classes perfectly complemented my Theater degree from the University of Wyoming, setting the stage for my next chapter.
My home studio is equipped with professional-grade tools, including the VoiceBooth VO1, Audio-Technica AT2035PK microphone, Focusrite Scarlett Solo interface, and Audacity software, ensuring exceptional audio quality.
